The LIV Winter Meeting on Statistical Physics will take place in Monterrey, Mexico, a major northern city known for its significant technological and industrial development. The event will be held at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (el Tec), one of the most prestigious institutions in Mexico and Latin America.
The LIV-WMSP 2026 will be held in the “Pabellón La Carreta” of Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (BiblioTec), from January 7 to 9, 2026.

The main Auditorium will be “Pabellón La Carreta” for plenary talks, opening/closing ceremonies, and poster session will take place in “Aulas I” building.
How to get to Monterrey:
The airport serving Monterrey is El Aeropuerto Internacional General Mariano Escobedo (MTY), located approximately 30 minutes from the LIV WMSP venue. This airport offers several direct international flights, particularly to various cities in the United States. For connections from Mexico City Airport (MEX), you can check airlines such as Aeromexico and VivaAerobus for available routes.

On Friday, January 9, we will have a group dinner at a traditional Monterrey restaurant. Attendees will be responsible for their own expenses. Further details regarding the reservation will be shared closer to the date.
